Gamification is a process that promotes a variety of behaviours aimed at specific behavioural and lifestyle changes. According to widespread opinion, the gamification concept or design could be applied to practically any environment, including workplaces, educational institutions, and many human-oriented activities. In this article, it is discussed how to encourage women to use more of an urban space. An urban space that has been made more interactive through gamification can influence citizens’ behaviour and increase their engagement with the area. From a tactical urbanism perspective, we have attempted to present an intersection between gamification and urban space design in this article. In order to achieve this, we have reviewed the literature in the fields of gamification and tactical urbanism. In addition, because the audience is crucial in both fields, we have looked into persona-based design. The current study/report is the result of an analytical approach, and the results of these surveys have been condensed into a model. In order to put the results into practice, a site in Kabul was designed using the results of this article as its basis.
